VFC Bao Buns

Serves 3

Ingredients

  • 1 pack VFC Popcorn Chick*n
  • 6 Bao Buns
  • 3 tbsp vegan mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp gochujang or other chilli sauce
  • 1 small red onion, very thinly sliced
  • 10cm piece cucumber, thinly sliced
  • Few sprigs coriander, roughly chopped
  • ½ lime (or lemon)
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds or black sesame seeds
  • Kimchi

Method

  1. Cook the VFC Popcorn Chick*n according to the pack instructions
  2. Mix the mayo with about 1 tsp gochujang or chilli sauce. In another bowl mix the red onion, cucumber and coriander and squeeze over a little lime juice
  3. When the VFC popcorn is ready, warm the bao buns according to the instructions then add a little spicy mayo to each
  4. Add some popcorn chick*n to each bao bun then add some of the red onion and cucumber mix. Drizzle over some extra gochujang or chilli sauce and add a pinch of sesame seeds. Serve warm with the kimchi on the side
