Salt & Pepper Popcorn Chick*n

Serves 2


  • 1 pack of VFC Popcorn Chick*n
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 red pepper
  • 1 white onion
  • 1 tsp Chinese five spice
  • 1 spring onion
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • White rice
  • Mixed salad leaves


  1. Slice your green pepper and red pepper into long strips
  2. Cut the onion into large chunks
  3. Finely slice your spring onion
  4. Heat the oil in the pan, or woke, on a high heat
  5. Throw in your peppers and white onion and cook for 5 or so minutes until soft
  6. Once cooked, add in your VFC Popcorn Chick*n and fry until cooked through
  7. Add in the Chinese five spice and half of your sliced spring onion. Continue to stir for 30 seconds then immediately take off the heat
  8. Serve with lots of cracked black pepper, the remaining spring onion, and salt to taste
  9. Plate with white rice and fresh salad
  10. Dish up and enjoy, rebels!
