Ours is an act of positive rebellion against a system that has brought us climate change, environmental destruction, factory farming and slaughterhouses. We applaud those who fight serious injustice with placards and demonstrations, with letters to MPs. We salute those who take to the streets with megaphones or lock themselves to railings. Our way to dismantle this destructive system is with great food. This is our sit-down protest.
Matthew is the co-founder of Veganuary, an ideas man and an entrepreneur. Not the soulless corporate type, but the type who dreams big and works hard because the world needs solutions. His aim? To save chickens.
Adam is an innovative chef and restaurateur, renowned for his high-quality, creative meat and vegan dishes, until, one day, Matthew took him to a chicken farm. His aim now? To save chickens.
Made for carnivores. Suitable for vegans.
Our Vegan Fried Chick*n is high in protein
Eat wheat not meat – it’s better for our environment
No chickens are harmed in the making of VFC, ever
Just because our food is made from plants, don’t go thinking we’re salad munchers. We don’t compromise our beliefs so why would we compromise on taste? Our fried chick*n is flavour-stacked, vegan-and-proud and it tastes so good. We’re not anti-salad. Just so long as it’s in a bun nestling a crispy, sauce-drenched VFC fillet.
We’ve been inside enough chicken farms to know that they tend not to look like the one KFC featured in its promotional film. Fresh straw! Swings to play on! Bells to ring! Lots of room to roam and express natural behaviours! The chickens were having an absolute ball!
We needed to see this house of fun for ourselves, so we tracked down the farm, pulled on our PPE and went inside.
Be the first to hear about our plans, products and the date the revolution begins (shhh). We never spam because spam’s not vegan.
